Interactive Field Trip CD-ROM Prentice Hall selected Earthtalk Studios to design and develop an interactive Author Field Trip CD-ROM to accompany a college textbook entitled "Diversity Amid Globalization". The author field trip CD-ROM would take students on narrated interactive pictorial walkthroughs of six unique destinations around the world. A Rich, Creative Solution Prentice Hall asked Earthtalk to design a unique look and feel for each individual field trip destination. In order to create a design that reflected six very different cultures, Earthtalk's designers extensively researched the geographic, cultural and political influences for each destination. The result was a vivid, rich design that evoked a sense of place. Interactive Learning Tools In addition to the diverse design elements of the CD-ROM, Earthtalk also incorporated many interactive features into the CD-ROM. Using interactive, flash-based programming, Earthtalk created an interactive, searchable glossary, printable exercises for teachers and students, and printable maps. Explore the CD-ROM.
